The Student and Graduate Affairs Department is responsible for identifying struggling students and overseeing the support provided to them according to the following procedures:

1- Financial Support:

• A list of low-income students is compiled based on a social study.

• Applications for tuition fee reductions are submitted and then presented to the Board of Directors to determine the reduction amount and inform the student of the result.

2- Supporting Academically Struggling Students at the Institute:

• The academic advisor reviews exam results at the end of each semester to identify struggling students.

• Personal interviews are conducted with struggling students to understand their problems and the reasons for their difficulties from their perspective.

• A detailed report on each struggling student’s situation and the reasons for their difficulties is prepared and submitted to the Head of the Unit.

• The Head of the Unit is responsible for reviewing each struggling student’s case and determining the necessary actions to improve their situation and raise their academic level.

• Appropriate teaching strategies are selected to support the struggling student.

• An academic advisor is assigned to follow up with the struggling student and provide them with appropriate support.

• Appropriate follow-up methods are selected to monitor struggling students and provide them with the necessary support. • Academic advisors regularly update students facing academic difficulties on their theoretical and practical progress.

• The Student and Graduate Affairs Department prepares a report at the end of each semester detailing the improvement in the academic performance of struggling students in each cohort and submits it to the Institute’s Board of Directors.
