“Orphan’s Day” event at the institute

The High Institute for Computers and Management Information Systems organized a communal Iftar for all faculty members, assistant staff, and support personnel. The Iftar was held under the patronage of the Chairperson of the Board and the Dean of the Institute, along with a distinguished group of faculty, staff, and students — in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan 2025.
The Institute organized a celebration entitled “Orphan’s Day” on Thursday, 17 April 2025, under the patronage of the Chairwoman of the Board and the Dean of the Institute — together with a distinguished group of faculty members, assistant staff, and students.
The Youth Welfare Department, in coordination with the Institute’s administration and by contacting the Ministry of Health and Population — through the social-committee officer — organized a blood donation campaign on Tuesday and Wednesday, 21–22/02/2023.
The Youth Welfare Department, in coordination with the Institute’s Administration, contacted the New Cairo General Hospital, in coordination with the Head of the Cultural Committee, to host a vaccination campaign against the novel coronavirus. The campaign targeted all faculty members and their assistants, administrative staff, workers, as well as the students of the institute. The campaign was held multiple times to accommodate the number of people at the institute.
The institute held a seminar titled “Drugs and Their Psychological Effects” on Monday, 20/12/2021, under the patronage of the Chairperson of the Institute’s Board of Directors and the Dean of the Institute, along with a distinguished group of specialists in this field, including Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Youssef, Consultant of Psychiatry and Addiction at the Mental Health Hospital, and Dr. Olfat Hussein Kahla, Consultant of Psychological Assessment and Therapy at Ain Shams University Hospital.
Visit to the Egyptian Food Bank on Monday, 18/03/2024, where the Food Bank Association was contacted and, in coordination with them, 20 male and female students were selected from the volunteers to participate in packing food for our brethren in Palestine, as a form of community engagement.
