Youth Welfare:

The institute is committed to supporting student activities, which led to the establishment of the Youth Welfare Unit. This unit provides a range of services and initiatives aimed at creating optimal conditions for the holistic development of students, enabling them to acquire qualities and attributes that equip them to serve their country in various fields of development.

Objectives of Youth Welfare:

To cultivate students into responsible and engaged citizens within the community.
To foster students’ personal growth and enhance their diverse capabilities through participation in various activity programs, thereby providing them with opportunities to gain collective experiences that augment their capacity for social adaptation.
To provide students with opportunities to engage in democratic practices and to develop leadership and followership skills.
To enable students to identify their needs and work towards fulfilling them through participation in various activities.
To identify, cultivate, and encourage students’ talents, abilities, and skills through their involvement in diverse activities.
To promote a spirit of cooperation and fraternity among students by fostering and encouraging student family activities.
To instill a sound collective ethos among students and strengthen the bonds between them, faculty members, and staff.
To utilize students’ leisure time in a beneficial and rewarding manner.
To identify talented and distinguished students in various activities and select them for inclusion in the institute’s teams to participate in ministry-level activities.
To assist students in resolving their social and familial challenges through the institute’s administration.
Support and Incentives for Outstanding Students: Outstanding students are supported and incentivized through rewards for achieving a ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’ grade point average.
Metro Pass Subscription: A form is obtained from the metro station, completed with data from the Student Affairs department, and submitted with two photographs to the metro station to get a subsidized subscription after paying the stipulated fees, as a contribution from the institute to alleviate the burden of transportation for students commuting to and from the institute.
Social Solidarity Fund:
Criteria for Selecting Students for Granting Assistance.
The Social Solidarity Fund is dedicated to providing financial and in-kind assistance to students in need.
Required Documents for Granting Assistance:

  • Application addressed to the Dean of the Institute and Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors.
  • Salary statement of the guardian or a letter indicating pension amount or proof of income.
  • Copy of the parent’s ID card.
  • Copy of the death certificate in case of the parent’s death.

A student in need, facing complicated circumstances, may apply to the Youth Welfare Department for assistance in reducing tuition fees and purchasing textbooks.
Conditions for Student Eligibility for the Social Solidarity Fund, according to Ministerial Decree No. 968 of 1982:

  • The student must hold the Egyptian nationality.
  • The family’s average per capita income must not exceed 300 Egyptian pound.
