Career Qualification and Alumni Affairs Office:
Office Vision: To contribute to the mitigation of unemployment by harmonizing learning outcomes with the demands of the labor market through the examination of labor market data. This involves providing constructive recommendations to enhance and refine the Institute’s academic programs in alignment with the exigencies of local and regional labor markets.
Office Mission: In accordance with the Institute’s mission to graduate qualified students capable of meeting the diverse needs of various sectors, the Alumni Affairs Office is dedicated to fostering robust, effective relationships between the Institute and its alumni, as well as between the Institute and the broader community.
Functions of the Career Qualification and Alumni Affairs Office:
Initiating necessary communications to compile an archive of alumni names and addresses.
Inviting alumni to participate in Institute-sponsored events.
Conducting specialized training courses for alumni, coupled with the provision of essential support.
Organizing an annual alumni convocation, ceremoniously recognizing distinguished alumni, and disseminating their success narratives.
Facilitating alumni visitation to the Institute, encouraging involvement in its activities, and streamlining access to its facilities.
Supporting small-scale entrepreneurial endeavors.
The Alumni Affairs Office is in charge of the following responsibilities:
Cultivating a continuous and substantive connection between alumni and the Institute to reinforce their institutional affiliation.
Providing opportunities for alumni to update their knowledge and augment their scholarly proficiency and skills continuously by furnishing them with advancements in their respective disciplines, utilizing mechanisms such as:
Invigorating continuing education programs to conduct training sessions for alumni.
Publishing an annual or semi-annual journal or newsletter.
Extending invitations to alumni for Institute events and programmatic activities.
Orchestrating an annual alumni day to foster collegial networking.
Assisting alumni who have not secured suitable employment by informing them of organizational and institutional requisites for various specializations. This is achievedby establishing channels between the Institute (via the alumni) and employment agencies.
Strategic Objectives:
Facilitating the acquisition of part-time, temporary, or permanent employment opportunities for students post-graduation that align with their specializations, predilections, and capabilities.
Constructing a human resource development information system within the Institute and the labor market by establishing a specialized database of human resources for Institute alumni and students, making it accessible to students, graduates, and job seekers.
Developing a local, regional, and international database specialized in labor market needs and opportunities available to graduates and students.
Tracking the professional statuses of Institute alumni through the preparation of numerical indicators and research studies that bolster the congruence between higher education outcomes and labor market requirements in terms of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and feedback.
Preparing studies on demanded, saturated, and stagnant specializations.
Equipping students with the requisite skills for employment that correspond with their fields of study and inclinations, achieved through the preparation of training courses in concordance with the Institute and specialized units.
Coordinating with civil society organizations relevant to human resource studies and development, as well as the employment and monitoring of Institute alumni.
General Objectives:
- Establishing diverse avenues of communication and engagement to strengthen the relationship between alumni and their college or university, and fostering purposeful collaboration to serve alumni, the Institute, and the local community.
- Engaging in effective communication with corporations and organizations.
- Assisting companies and organizations seeking employees in readily accessing the Institute alumni and selecting suitable candidates.
- Facilitating the acquisition of employment opportunities for alumni that align with their specializations and preferences.
- Monitoring the professional status of Institute alumni and the suitability of their job nature to the specializations available at the Institute.
- Establishing an electronic information system through the construction of dedicated alumni databases.
- Developing an alumni website to streamline the process of registering curricula vitae in the database.
- Advertising available positions and receiving applications from organizations seeking to recruit.
- Publishing a periodic journal or newsletter containing news of interest to alumni.
- Continuously providing alumni with updates in their fields and specializations to enhance their scholarly and professional proficiency.
- Organizing an annual alumni day to which all alumni are invited.

The High Institute for Computers and Management Information Systems held a graduation-day celebration entitled “Graduate Day”.
Date: Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
The celebration was under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board and the Dean of the Institute — together with a select group of faculty members, assistant staff, and students.
Academically outstanding students were honored during the event, in addition to students who have excelled in various activities.
The High Institute for Computers and Management Information Systems held its first Employment Fair on Tuesday, 11/2/2025 to support students and graduates and to provide opportunities for direct contact with leading companies and institutions in the labor market.
