Unit Of Measurement And Evaluation

The project aims to promote the quality of ed ucational outcomes and prepare graduates from a high-level of academic and skill-based programs according to academic and labor market requirements by measuring educational outcomes using qualification tools with a level of objectivity and credibility.

This project derives its importance from its connection to developing education and raising its level to international standards, in line with the changes taking place in higher education worldwide and the demands of the times. The project aims to:

 

  • Formulating assessment system requirements that align with standard academic criteria for graduates, in accordance with modern theories of educational assessment.
  • Continuously building and updating question banks for 100% of the institute’s courses.
  • Developing objective tests based on the intended learning outcomes and academic standards of programs and courses.
  • Implementing an electronic marking, monitoring, and assessment system for the institute’s courses, consistent with assessment standards, to ensure the quality of the assessment and examination process.
    Creating electronic tests in various disciplines and analyzing test results, while implementing an appropriate feedback mechanism
  • Establishing a specific system, rules, and procedures for managing electronic tests, monitoring implementation, and conducting continuous evaluation.
  • Implementing training programs for the institute’s faculty members to enhance their ability to construct objective tests consistent with the targeted learning outcomes.
  • Determining clear systems and procedures to study the impact of constructing objective tests in light of the targeted learning outcomes.
